In the late 1960s, AIRMATIC helped pioneer the use of high-frequency pneumatic and electric external form vibrators to consolidate concrete. We've been a supplier to the precast, prestress, and cast-in-place market ever since. During the last 50 years, the industry has seen an onslaught of new materials, new technologies, and new safety and environmental regulations. We have kept pace at every step, adding products and services that make concrete consolidation and finishing faster, safer, and more productive and allow our customers to effectively and efficiently meet the demands placed on them.

While we are still a leader in external form vibration, we now stock and service internal/immersion vibrators, and replacement vibrators for concrete pipe machines as well. We also design and build vibrating tables. And, with the recent introduction of our line of Screeds and Bull Floats, we can now significantly speed up and improve surface finishing operations.

Types of Concrete Vibration & Finishing Equipment

External Concrete Vibrators & Parts

Temporarily liquefy the concrete mix to coax the entrapped air to the surface and ensure sufficient consolidation to completely surround the rebar and fill the Form. Industry’s most complete line of quick change and permanent mount high-force and high-frequency pneumatic and electric rotary vibrators, and pneumatic linear impacting vibrators for Forms and Molds.

Internal Concrete Vibrators & Parts

Internal gas and electric concrete vibrators redistribute concrete and reduce internal friction that enables mixtures to distribute properly and compact without entrapped air. With AIRMATIC’s line of internal gas and electric immersion concrete vibrators, you can be sure to find what you need to complete the job with ease. Find vibrator shafts, vibrator heads, electric- and gas-powered motors, and high-cycle vibrators.

Concrete Screeds

Used mainly in slab applications, vibrating screeds, also called surface vibrators, are applied to the top surface of the concrete to consolidate from the top down while removing excess concrete in a process called strikeoff. Screeding fills the form evenly or brings the surface to grade and prepares the surface for final finishing. We provide power or floating screeds for pour-in-place applications, and unique vibratory screeds specifically engineered for the precast market.

Concrete Bull Floats

Used after the screeding process, or tamping if done, bull floats further consolidate and compact unformed surfaces of freshly poured concrete when performed on a timely basis (before bleed water comes to the surface). A bull float imparts a relatively even, but still open, texture to the surface for more refined finishing. We offer both standard, manually-operated, long long-handled bull floats and, for superior floating and faster, easier operation, the MOTOFLOAT vibratory bull float.

Concrete Vibrating Tables

Often used in the manufacturing of precast concrete products such as pipes, beams, architectural panels, pavers, countertops, and other molded concrete or cast products, Vibrating Tables are essential for providing proper vibration in the consolidation of concrete. Choose the size, capacity, power source, flat-deck or grid-top, and other options depending on your specific needs.

Features & Benefits

  • Durability:  We recognize that vibrators and finishing equipment will be subjected to harsh operating conditions, including temperature extremes, and corrosive environments. Our products are built to withstand these conditions and continue to perform as intended for a long time.
  • Reliability:  Our products are designed and tested to meet rigorous standards for reliability and we guarantee they will meet your expectations.
  • Customization:  Our products, equipment, and systems can be customized to meet your specific needs or requirements. Customization can include changes to system layout or design, materials, or performance specifications.
  • Compatibility:  Our concrete vibrators, tables, screeds, and bull floats are designed to work together. The built-in compatibility ensures that they can be integrated seamlessly into existing systems or processes without causing any disruption.
  • Cost-effectiveness:  Our products are designed to be energy-efficient, reduce maintenance requirements, and use materials that are cost-effective and readily available. Our goal is always to help you maximize performance and minimize costs.

Why Airmatic?

At AIRMATIC, we don’t just buy products from world-class manufacturers. We interface with those manufacturers regularly to be sure we thoroughly understand their offerings and are completely up to speed on their innovations. In fact, our close relationships with our manufacturers go a long way toward making us the first-rate distributor that we are.

Of course, we maintain significant expertise inhouse as well. Do you need to consult with an engineer? We can connect you. In need of installation or maintenance services? We have those as well. Other questions, concerns, or needs? Bring them. After all, we are much more than a distributor. We are a provider of solutions.
