Job Posting: Account Manager, Industrial Sales

AIRMATIC's Bulk Solids Handling Group needs mechanically inclined, results-oriented Industrial Sales professionals who can make an impact on our company by growing our bulk materials handling product and system sales, and installation and maintenance service work at established accounts. Duties include increasing sales of existing accounts, and cold-calling, qualifying, and closing sales to Prospects in our target markets: Manufacturing, Mining, and Construction Industries that convey, store, transport, and process powders and bulk solids. Our hybrid Inside Sales/Field Sales Account Manager will join a team of smart, hard-working co-workers who are driven to exceed Customer expectations with market-leading products and services. This is an in-office and field sales position. Typical month involves 2/3 time in office (Malvern, PA Headquarters) and 1/3 time making Field Sales calls.

Position Requirements:

  •  Background in Industrial/Mechanical products and maintenance services

  •  Mechanical aptitude, ie, ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles

  •  Highly motivated with focused ambition and drive

  •  Demonstrable track record of success including consistent achievement of goals/targets

  •  Passion and work ethic needed to succeed as a professional and successful Account Manager

  •  Ability to develop business relationships at the decision-making level

  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and social skills

  • Type ≥ 50-wpm; CRM software-use required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook

  • Desire and ability to work in a company culture that rewards sound judgment, honesty, passion and hard work

Responsibilites:

  • Grow AIRMATIC’s revenue and profitability with assigned existing accounts

  • Develop a sales pipeline using relationship building, telephone and e-mail prospecting, and personal and social networking to identify new business at current Customers and to engage Prospects

  • Qualify Prospects and provide accurate sales pipeline reporting

  • Manage activities and opportunities through all stages of the Customer life cycle using our CRM Software

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and objectives

  • Provide input to sales and marketing management based on Customer and Prospect feedback

Appropriate Skills, Attributes, and Interests

  •  Experience with mechanical products and services. Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering Degree is a plus. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply

AIRMATIC provides Industry training, ongoing product training, and sales training and coaching using an internationally recognized, professional sales-process.  We also provide ongoing business skills training, marketing and sales support, and coaching and mentoring to help elevate both our Associates and our company.

Compensation:

Compensation package includes a base salary, commission on sale of products sales and services, bonus opportunities, and first-year earnings potential of $80,000 – $120,000. The company offers comprehensive insurance and benefits package including 401(k) Plan and Profit Sharing.

We're searching for an Associate who enjoys working with a great team of professional yet friendly people. Qualified applicants are invited to submit a resume (a personalized cover letter is a plus). Qualified candidates who meet key criteria and appear to be a good fit will be notified by email of our interest and asked to confirm understanding of our Industrial Inside Sales positionl. Confirmed candidates are then telephone-interviewed by our Sales Director and asked to complete sales assessments. The final step is an in-person interview by our Hiring Team, which will include a sales presentation made by the candidate.
